What customers say?

“ My favorite local eatery... Go early .. often sold out by 1 pm ”

- Victoria Lee -

“ Goose Rice: The rice was cooked very well, with each grain distinct. The goose meat tasted very fresh, savory, and flavorful. The side dish, cabbage, was stir-fried with goose fat and was very fragrant and soft. The king oyster mushrooms were delicious. The eggplant was rather ordinary, and the crispy radish didn't have much flavor. The accompanying goose broth was also sweet and delicious. The small fish and dried chili peppers enhanced the flavor considerably. The interior seating area is a bit small and cramped, with about four tables. If you use a long, narrow table against the wall, the flow of movement will be smoother. The cleanliness was acceptable. ”

“ The food was delicious, especially the broth, which I particularly enjoyed. The side dishes for the rice dishes were also quite generous. However, the restaurant has limited seating and is often packed due to its popularity. ”

- Karen -

“ The flavors are good, the portions are medium, and the prices are mid-range. The signature goose rice had less meat than expected, and the offal broth was delicious. This is a recommended local restaurant. ”

“ When I first discovered this place, I mainly ate their chicken. However, as they gradually introduced various dishes, the original chicken quickly sold out. Although the name says goose, many people don't order it because goose meat is actually quite expensive and scarce. What often sells out quickly here is fish, usually cod, horse mackerel, milkfish belly, yellow croaker, or whatever fish they buy that day. Sometimes, baby squid even appears. They also have pork knuckle and Matsusaka pork. The chef is male, but surprisingly, the food isn't too oily or salty. Many people go here because they don't have time to cook, and this is the only place where they can buy more home-style, simpler, and less overly salty food. The prices have risen steadily since I've been eating here since childhood. But actually, if you compare prices, you won't feel full if you don't order the goose meat. The rest of the meals are great value for money. Recently, the owners have been working hard and taking time off. However, regular customers know that to get a good meal, you need to call and leave your number by 11 am or 5 pm. Orders placed. This shop sells out in about five hours a day, but I believe the preparation and purchasing of ingredients must take a lot of time. Selling fresh items quickly and closing quickly, without stockpiling, is definitely the best way to run a business. ”

“ This was my first time dining here, and I ordered goose meat and vegetable rice. The amount of goose meat was a bit small, but the three vegetables were quite good. Most importantly, they weren't too salty or oily, which suited my taste perfectly. I would definitely recommend them! ”

- 洪小敏 -

“ Despite being a small shop with a sign that advertises goose, the limited seating is cozy. Besides goose, they also offer chicken and fish. The goose is a must-try, boneless and cooked to perfection. Paired with rice and side dishes, it's a classic combination. The finishing touch is the pickled radish, which complements the goose even more. I highly recommend ordering the offal or goose intestine soup. Don't worry if you don't order the soup separately; the owner will provide a piping hot bowl of broth. The broth, like the one you order a la carte, appears to be simmered with plenty of bones, resulting in a milky white broth that feels like consuming the essence of a whole goose in one gulp. The side dishes are also excellent, including the boiled vegetables, bamboo shoots, fish, braised eggs, and rice blood cakes. They're all delicious and complement the main course perfectly. Highly recommended! ”

“ The goose meat was quite tender, and the side dishes were delicious. I absolutely loved the pickled radish. For a 110 yuan bento, the amount of meat is pretty average. And the accompanying soup is super delicious! (The photo shows me finishing half a bowl.) It's simmered to a milky white with a rich aroma. I'll definitely be back for the soup. ”
